My experience with The Swole Kitchen was incredibly valuable and empowering. Despite having a background in nutrition and training with a kinesiology degree, I lacked confidence in tracking my food and had many questions about nutrition. I chose The Swole Kitchen's 3-month macro program, followed by a 1-month Macro Express program, to help me gain the knowledge and tools I needed.
During my coaching, I was able to lean out a bit and, more importantly, feel more confident in my body. I learned a lot about how to effectively fit all my macros into my day and found the best ways to meet my protein goals. One of the most surprising things I learned was just how much food I needed to eat, especially when focusing on whole, good foods. It was eye-opening to see how much small changes could make a big difference.
Meeting all my macros every day was (and still is) a challenge, but since starting, I've hit my goals on several days, and I’m proud of that progress. Jocelyn, my coach, had a significant impact on my journey. She provided great food substitutes and creative ideas to help me meet my macros, especially with my sweet tooth. She introduced me to high-protein sweet snacks that actually fill me up, which was a game-changer.
Now that my coaching program is over, I feel more confident and knowledgeable about my nutrition. Although I’m ready for a break, I know I’ll get back into tracking macros again because of the solid foundation I’ve built.
One suggestion I have is for the Macro Express program—having a video call at the beginning and end of the month would be helpful to set the tone, check in, and recap progress. Overall, I’m very likely to recommend The Swole Kitchen to friends and colleagues. I believe a lot of people can benefit from the personalized and supportive coaching they offer.
